Turning end is 4 feet deep. The Competition course has not been certified in accordance

Team Registration
Team entries will be accepted. Please submit team entries on HY-TEC file via email to Yumiko Senanayake at yum@charter.net.  Hard copy back-up, waiver, and fees are due to Badger State Games, c/o Yumiko Senanayake,6905 Raspberry Lane, Wausau, WI  54401 no later than 5:00 pm, Wednesday, June 3, 2015.
 
Individual Registration
Interested swimmers not currently registered on a recognized swim team should fill out the Individual Entry Form, Tide Swim Club Waiver and Badger State Games Waiver.  Mail all forms and fees due to Badger State Games, c/o Yumiko Senanayake, 6905 Raspberry Lane, Wausau, WI 54401 no later than 5:00 pm, Wednesday, June 3, 2015.
 
*NOTE: On-Site Registration (Deck Entries) will be available at the discretion of the Commissioner and only to fill open lanes.*
 
DEADLINES:
 
Entries must be received by the Entry Chairperson, Yumiko Senanayake, no later than 5:00 pm, Wednesday, June 3, 2015.
 
Entry Fees:
$ 8 Badger State Games Registration Fee per athlete
$ 3 Splash Fee per athlete
$ 5 per individual event
$ 20 per relay
 
$ 7 Deck Entry Fee per event
 
Swimmers may compete in a maximum of four (4) events per day and a maximum of 8 total. One relay per day.  WISCONSIN and ILLINOIS RESIDENTS ONLY.  Deck entries will be allowed at the discretion of the Commissioner and only to fill open lanes.
 
All athletes must sign the Badger State Games Athlete Waiver online during registration or on the printable registration forms at check-in.

For those that want to cheer on our athletes and to see them bring home the gold here are a few tips:

Admission Fee: Free admission.
 
Concessions: Concessions will be available in the cafeteria. Swimmers are allowed sipper bottles on deck. No food or drink allowed in pool area. Please make sure swimmer’s area on deck and in the rest area is picked up after each session.

Other Information:
First Aid Kit: Please report any injuries to the Lifeguard and to the Meet Director. A First Aid Kit is available through the lifeguard.

Lockers: Women and Men's lockers are available. Swimmers are responsible for securing their own belongings. Wausau Tide will not be responsible for lost articles.
In accordance with the Federal Video Voyeurism Prevention Act of 2004 – the use of camera phones or video recording devices in the locker rooms is prohibited.

Lost and Found: Located at the awards table during the meet. After the meet, check with or call Kelly Carlson (715).258.2951 for any lost and found items.

Afternoon Warm-ups: will begin at the completion of the morning sessions and will run for one hour. The meet will begin 15 minutes after warm-ups have been completed.
 
**AM and PM sessions will have 30 minutes of circle swimming with no racing starts. Sprints lanes will be opened during the second 30 minutes.**

*Relays -Submit relay entires at meet. Relays may be all men, all women or mixed (2 men/ 2women).

Meet Results: A copy of final results will be mailed within one week. Results will be returned on team disk if a disk was provided. Other results will be emailed the following day if an email address is provided.

USA and Wisconsin Short Course rules shall prevail. All USA-Swimming Registered
swimmers are welcome to participate. Swimmers who are not registered in USASwimming
are also welcome and encouraged to participate. Age is as of June 13, 2015.

Timing System:
Daktronics timing system and touch pads will be utilized, along with two back-up timers for each lane.  

Rules:                         
USA Swimming & Wisconsin short course rules shall prevail for the meet. Fly over starts will be used.

COMPETITION
8 & Under swimmers may report to the designated staging area.  All other swimmers report to the blocks prior to your event. This is a pre-seeded meet. Heat/Events may be combined due to time constraints, but will be awarded separately.
 
General Rules:

Governing Body:
USA Swimming approved meet.
USA Swimming membership not required.
 
Conduct:
*All coaches and/or parents/guardian are responsible for the conduct of their swimmers. Any violation such as improper behavior or damage to property, etc. may result in removal of the swimmer from the meet and/or disqualification of swimmer's individual events.

*Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA Swimming member coach, must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. It is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.

* Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is prohibited.
