For those that want to cheer on our athletes and to see them bring home the gold here are a few tips:
Best place to view the event & how much you can see: If your in one spot 5%. If they walk to the prime areas, it will be more congested and fun to watch. Also starting times 10 and 11 will be fun to watch.
Seating Available or bring your own chairs: Bring your own chairs
Admission Fee: No Fee.
Concessions: Inside the club house, Lower Bar
Carry-ins allowed (food &/or drink):
Merchandise: Are Signs or Noise makers allowed: YES!!
Other Information: Just come out and get to know the sport.
There will be three races: 1 hour
5 hour Open (2-4 racers)
The course will provide a variety of terrain through the woods.
Actual course length to be determined prior to the event.
Medals will be awarded to the Top 3 Male and Female finishers in each race.
Races will start mid to late Saturday morning.
Medals will be awarded for the short race at 1PM and the both longer races at 3PM.
All riders will required to use Fat Bikes (no Mountain Bikes allowed) with tires a minimum of 3.7 inches wide.
Helmets are required, and athletes will be required to sign a waiver before competing.
The course will have a variety of terrain through Greenwood Hills Golf Course. There will be wide lanes for passing as well as areas of single track. Medals will be given to the Top 3 male and female competitors in each race. Onsite registration and pickup of numbers for pre-registration will take place in the lower bar area.
